Looks like we are going to have to take care of LSpuke ourselves because Bama isn't giving us ANY help. They flat out suck. LSU is good, yes, but Bama is friggin terrible. We can certainly beat these guys, though.

No boubt adout it, 10...[sic]... Bama's out to lunch. It's gonna be up to us to nut up and beat LSpuke.

Tell you this much - Memphis is a better team than we gave them credit for originally. They're 7-4 now after an impressive rout at Louisville. I'm still hugely bummed that they beat us, but at least it isn't the horrible loss we thought.

And howbout my other alma mater, the Tulsa Golden Hurricane? 7-4, and headed to San Jose St to play a 3-6 team. TU has to be the comeback team of the year. Had only 3 or so wins last year...

 LSU looks awful good to me. Man they have a fast defense. We will protect Eli better than the Bama line is for Croyle. (They ought to arrest the entire LSU defense for assault and "everready" battery - they are killing that poor guy.)

I'm anxious to see what we do to counter their rush. (Do you think Cutcliffe is still watching this?) Surely he hasn't gone to sleep in his recliner.

Gotta agree with you. Bama really is bad but LSU IS looking like a 3rd ranked team. Their D swarms. Our O-line needs to get their sheat ready for that. Eli needs to put on his running shoes because I feel we'll be passing a lot.
I'm not all that worried about the LSU offensive attack from what I've seen. Sure they're explosive but I think we can compete with their running game. Also, their passing attack can be dealt with. Mauck makes mistakes with pressure.

Looks like we'll get the game of the century next week.

Based on what I've seen we'll only lose by 10.

When I was a freshman at Ole Miss, Tennessee was ranked No. 3 and Archie and the "other" mules tacked one on them 38-0. That is not a prediction, but I know that #3 can lose. Just ask Va. Tech. or Jack 'Hacksaw" Reynolds and Steve Kiner.

I remember that game as if it were yesterday, the Tennessee fans wearing their "Archie Who" buttons, the first team defense arising in unison late in the game to go back onto the field to preserve the shutout. Oh, the memories.

The next Monday, my father-- even as cheap as he was, God love him-- gave away Orange Crushes in his drugstore.

That was possibly the best short summary of LSU that I've seen yet, EBR! Unbelievable defense, decent offense with many vulnerabilites....... good prediction! Mine's the same!

By the way, how do you bring up someone else's post to show what you're replying to? I've tried copy/paste but no success....

All you do is click on "quote" up in the upper right hand corner of the post you are responding to, and then you can quote part or all of that post. There is a quote window below where you type your message and you can edit the quotes there. 04-cheers
