Just a quick update on stAte's football expansion
completion date is set for August 1st. I believe it will take just a bit longer to finish.

The stadium is looking fantastic. I'm truly proud of you guys. I remember going to a game there in 1993 and seeing what it looked like then. You all have come a long way in a relatively short period of time...and not only do you all deserve it, your program has earned it.

I look forward to following you again this season and may actually be making the trip down from KC for our Sept. 19 game.

Have a great time and safe trip. I didn't used to be a soccer fan until I went to a match at Sporting Park. All of our schools could use a lesson from SKC regarding game day experience. I'd love to get MO State admins up here to get some ideas (if they haven't already).

I'm pretty sure one of the heads over marketing for SKC used to work for Arkansas State.

Yeah VP of operations and stuff. Gave me a tour of the stadium and people were spraying and wiping down every seat. Asked if they had some bad weather or something. No we do that before every game. They have basically two HD production rooms one for the video boards and one for their telecast. Visiting teams have to rent a truck though. They don't use satellite to feed their network or MLS national feed, send it out via a high Internet connection. Showed me a suitcase sized box and said that's our version of satellite.

Installed high speed beer taps and the luxury area you can watch post game press conference through full length windows with audio pumped in or just go to the club open to everyone in the end zone and party.
