It was more of jab, not really comparing because both programs aren't in the same basket to compare.
But, I will say, if you can stand out at a smaller school, I feel one has a better shot at the NFL than the big college programs.
The last few great QBs out of every big school seem to have flamed out, thats all Im saying.
And, for the record, our Rockets in the NFL have done quite well.

Most importantly here, UT made a good connection with a promising young person and his family. That's the kind of word of mouth recommendation that recruiting services can't give.
As for "sitting on the bench," if that paid for the education I wanted, that's a dang good bench to have. We all know that even sitting on the bench at ANY college sports program is no easy thing to earn. There's a lot of character building in that.
