I just went to the LaTech board....and most of them are anti-KA. There's another thread with a pic of the KA members....and I noticed they're all white. I'm sure LaTech has its share of black students. IMO, the fight has something to do with race.

we had fights between the tech football team and the ka's when i was at tech in the late nineties. they were very much like this incident. ka's do something stupid, football team beats the crap out of them.

I also agree with OUG. There is more to the story, and it's coming out that a bunch of frat boys jumped a freshman player, and the team came back and kicked their punk asses. Whether THAT was the closed party or not is still in question.

Its not nice to call out people when you dont know who you are calling out. My Fraternity has a history of MU football players being members. If a football player did get jumped then that sucks. I hate fights that are not fair. I can understand where a team would be mad, especially being displaced as they are. Never the less labeling all greeks based on your limited knowledge kinda sucks.

Not all Fraternities are bad and when morons like yourself run your mouth all you do is make yourself look like an arse.

Instead of stereotyping all organizations try actually knowing something 1st.

I think college republicans on MU's campus is filled with holy roller douche bags, but Im not going to get on a internet message board and label all College Republicans with that label based on my limited knowledge of the subject.

Dude, thats only how the first player got jumped on Friday... by the way, I take that to mean the frat guys went out of their way to kick his arse AFTER he had tried getting into the party. I.e. multiple frat guys pounding on one kid. That's not cool.

What happened when our guys got back from Dallas is what the article discusses. About 20 of the guys went to the house after the team returned from Dallas (they were told about the attack on their teammate on the way back from the game)....they weren't trying to get into a KA party, they were trying to tell the frat guys... "you can't go jumping one of our guys without having problems with all of us"... I'm sure it was just a show of strength.

If this was the all-out brawl between 30-40 young guys, you'd think there would be a hell of a lot more than three minor injuries. Sounds like a shoving match, a minor scuffle.

I'm actually kind of proud of these guys for sticking up for one another like that.

You've got to understand, right now, after the past month, relying on one another is ALL these guys have left.

Well then this changes everything.

If they did jump one of their teammates then the KA's have it coming to them. They want to jump a guy then deal with the consequences. If it means Tulane running up on their property then by god KA better be ready to rumble.

I dont know the whole storyu, but I would like to know more......time to keep reading............

What are his injuries from the "pounding" he SUPPOSEDLY took?

If he was askedto leave and then mouthed off then ****** happens......its also a matter of what goes around comes around. If this FRESHMAN football player did get in over his head and gets his boys for revenge then its karma. Never the less this is something that didnt need to happen, and hopefully no one was seriosly hurt.
