Preseason First Team C-USA

We have a DE that made first-team who has played 34 games and has recorded a grand total of 1 sack. Did I miss something?

Voted by the coaches. I don't get it either, but I say give'em hell, Mr. Smith.
Next year, we'll have 5 or 6 on this preseason list.

I hope so. Hopefully a few offensive linemen and linebackers.

FIU only won 4 games last year, yet they have 5 CUSA preseason first teamers this year. Say what?

The number of games a team won shouldn't matter. These are individual honors. Richard Leonard accounts for 2 of those picks and I think he could play for any team in the league.

Did I read the list correctly? Rice only has one player make 1st team?

When you play Rice you play the team not the individual. Very well run program.

I also believe he's moving inside to D tackle this season.

Only 1 WKU player on 1st team defense? Blasphemy. We have the best defense in the country this year.
