Easier opponents, but you need to check mapquest. San Antonio is a short trip compared to the others.

Better check Bailiff's record against Tulsa.

I wouldn't call Tulsa an easier opponent. It seemed even on those years where we thought we were better they'd give us a good whipping, especially in BB. I hated to see them leave, actually that's the only school that I hated to see leave. Nice people live there too.

Three schools which I want to see the Raiders play frequently are Rice, La Tech and Southern Miss. We have yet to play Rice there or at home. La Tech: we finally get to play this year at their place. And Southern Miss, once in three years? This is the down side of the East/West split. Surely, Rice's 2015 schedule is somewhat of an anomaly.

Living in Huntsville I look forward to making the short drive up to see your campus when we play in 2016. I think both MTSU and WKU were good adds from the Sunbelt.

Winston and GoodOwl: I should have mentioned while you're in the Boro for a Rice/MT game; you should visit Stones River National Battlefield. Take I-24, Exit 78. It's the site of one of the bloodiest and costliest battle of the civil war (or War between the States). I contend that's really why we are the "Blue Raiders". Others say, we were mimicking the "Red Raiders" of Colgate; (not Texas Tech) back in the 1920s when we adopted our nickname.

Good for Rice. That has to be a good feeling.

I'm a little surprised honestly. I thought Mt fans would be more interested in playing the eastern schools.

Personally, I'd rather us play UAB, Charlotte, and Marshall. FIU and FAU are meh.

Exit 76 / Medical Center Pkwy is more direct w/less traffic. 78 (Old Fort) means you have to deal with horrible traffic all the time (story time, I was stuck just due to traffic at a light for almost 30 mins a few weeks ago on Old Fort...), while 76 is only horrible at rush hour. For any fans wanting to visit MT, Exit 76 has a lot of good hotels that are new as well as a huge mall and upscale district right there. Not very far from MTSU and signage is pretty helpful

El Paso is nearly twice as far from Houston as Hattiesburg
