Same problem: high school and AAU possess PLUS meddling parents can't accept that Junior is NOT a sure fire NBA-bound "one and done"

Nick King's dad should have been concerned that he could never dribble a lick with his right hand and played a foot below the rim instead of one foot above the rim

Austin did improve noticeably last year; but dad should have been concerned that Austin hadn't touched a ball or lifted a weight since his injury; too small and wispy to be a 5, inadequate mobility to be a 4, and insufficient toughness to get any higher than 100 on the NBA draft

Huggins just runs them off as Calipari did here

Nichols could have been a good college player and this year's collection has some Laurenburg Prep hints with the Lawson's and a bus load of guards

Calipari ran off scrubs for the most part. I don't know what Huggy Bear ran off; but please tell me you aren't comparing Pastner to Huggins.

West Virginia would have waxed us last year. That's all that really matters.

Kevin Ware
Angel Nunez
Shaquan Aaron
Anton Gill

Chris Jones
Chane Behanan

It happens everywhere, but the other coaches have earned the benefit of the doubt.

Yeah, great idea. Let's compare Joshie to Bob Huggins and Rick Pitino. What could go wrong?

All three have an "o" in at least their first or last name. That's where is ends.

By year 6 at Cincinatti, Huggins had an elite 8 and a final four

Pitino went to the final four his 2nd year at Providence.

We all know Pastner's tournament resume.

Well, you're kinda leaving out his first 5 years at Akron where no such success was registered; the question posed by your opinion is whether you are afflicted by mendacity or deliberated obfuscated the truth.

In Pastner's first 5 years, he was accountable for making the NCAA in years 2-5 WHICH HE DID.

Any comparison of Huggins to Pastner begins now going forward.

Yes we who can read do know Pastner's NCAA resume.....which exceeds Calipari's first 5 years at Memphis.

And he is tied for the number of wins ever win in the first 6 years.

Your resume as poster reflects no such success.

Pastner only has 24 more years of head coaching experience to be compared to Huggins' success last year; his success in his first 6 years pales in comparison to Pastner.

The mic is now back in a nice warm, brown setting

Huggins has always been overrated. He built his reputation at UC playing Coppin State types in the out of conference schedule. Pitino, now that's a different story. I still think you can get a good coach without wallowing in the mud, however.
