I'm getting juiced just thinking about the football season!

Here's one for the ladies and it's a great program. My wife has been attending these events the past few years and she and her friends rave about it. She even got some non football types from the local community to attend and they are now hooked on JMU football. The coaches are enthusiastic and share inside scoop type information that makes my wife the new expert in the household.

This year's event starts with a team practice, then some drills for the attendees, dinner with a guest speaker, player panel with current players, coaches presentations, and finishes with a tour of the football facility.

This really needs to go out on the local radio. They need to reach out to women's clubs like the local Garden Club, Churches, etc. This can be one of the best ways to bring in the local community to enjoy JMU athletics.

My wife has attended this event the last couple of years and has signed up to go this year. It's a great opportunity to meet the coaches talk to some of the players.

Here is a little more about the program:

Coach Withers and the staff are excited for the 2015 Women's Clinic this Friday! The team has been working very hard and is ready for a big season. Before they kickoff we get to kickoff with this great event! Check-in will be at the main entrance of the Plecker Athletic Center in front of the Big Duke Dog at 4pm. Once you check in you will walk back to the field and watch the last couple minutes of practice. After that, we will take a big group photo with the team and coaches and we will get that photo to you all. Make sure to bring athletic shoes and clothing to be able to do some drills with the Coaches and Players. After dinner we will hear some great speakers, hear from a group of players, and Coach Withers. Before you leave I will take you on a tour of our updated facilities including the new locker room!
