600 congregations decide the war on drugs is not working

have quoted this logic in the past....most specifically the portugal/swiss methodology

prop 48 is coming up in missippy soon.....finally, something meaningful worth voting for....

I've always said legalize drugs and have government centers where the drugs are provided free to whoever wants them. Let them inhale, shoot up (or whatever) and lock them in a room until they come down off the high.

This will eliminate druggies as a danger to society. They won't be driving while high, and they won't be involved in crime to pay for their hobby.

Not an issue I care a lot about.

Drug issues are up to each state. I do not care about the drug policy of any other state.

and all of that is fair enough from you guys...

the importance is the backing from the cross section of the cross...

IMO, this is significant in this becoming an issue that may sway voting in '16......

short term thinking only exists after a puff or four....

Its backing from New England. That's not quite like getting backing from Berkeley, but its close.

Also the leadership of the UMC is far to the left of the bulk of the membership. Note the comment-"its a justice issue." In other words, too many people are being put in jail.

not my point of contention....let me simplify.....

one potato......two potato, three potato, 137......4

this is about talking points amongst a collective with an objective that once was prime.....yet, is now being reduced to that of all greater than one....in other words.....it's about gaining traction within the voting base

those follicles are being opened...even those that aren't in cali....
