Some merging might be in order. Almost did it yesterday, but figured a day or two of letting us vent a little wasn't out of hand.
The sun will come out tomorrow, we still have a good roster. It sucks to lose AN and we all doubt Pastner's ability to survive, but:
1. The FB team should be good
2. We still have a talented BB roster.
3. JP will be coaching for his career this year, be it here or elsewhere, maybe that makes results. People do odd things with the backs to the wall and surprise you sometimes.
It could be worse. We've still got a lot to look forward to this year in both FB and BB. Here is hoping we play this out well.
It sucks to lose AN, but keep your collective heads up. We're Memphis. We'll be fine long term

Auction off or randomly select a seat at home games and have that person get to be coach for a game.

I've lived through worse.
Yates had tons of talent, but never really achieved much. When he was let go, Kirk came in with a bunch of average players, and two tall white guys (Isbell & McDowell). As good of a coach as Kirk was, it took a player like Keith Lee to turn things around.
When Larry was let go and Tic price came in, we basically had a roster full of average JC players, and no really talented local prospects ready to come in and carry the team.
When Tic was fired, Jones was in the same situation - a bunch of Juco's, and no major recruits on the horizon.
