If so, send her Austin's way to comfort him...

Might make him stick around.

Only way he sticks around is if the current coach quits.

A lot of season ticket holders feel the same way. A lot.

And all that means is that they are fans of winning, and maybe not so much the University of Memphis. Those are weak fans right there. But if that is how they feel who can change someone who is that shallow. The Grizz are hot so I am sure they will find a new home with them.

Reel it in tigerland. I know a large group of Tiger fans, some who donate heavy dollars to the athletic program, who eat, sleep and breath Tiger athletics, who've had season tix since the Moe Iba days, but have had enough of Pastners clown act as a coach. Guess they're fair weather plastic fans just because they recognize the train wreck this program has become under Pastner and refuse to back this Howdy Doody joke of a coach, don't blame them one bit. I dropped my 7 season tix down to 3. If this clown is still here after this coming season (should've been gone 2 years ago), that 3 will go to 0. And no, the Grizz have nothing to do with it.

TRAIN WRECK? I am in no way a huge Pastner fan, but this program is far from a train wreck. Since he has been here they have been much more successful than Ole Miss, Ark, Miss St., Tenn, Vanderbilt etc. I think there are issues but if people stop exaggerating SO MUCH people will take your comments much more seriously!

With or without Austin they will have a good year this year. Blaming the coach for a player who announces he is transferring at the end of the summer is wrong. This is on the player and the family and from all accounts has much more to do with non-basketball issues.

I agree with paragraph one, and disagree with paragraph two.

Glad you don't think this program is a train wreck under Pastner. Out of the class of 2013 (a top rated class) only one remains. Black, King and now AN, all 3 Memphis kids whose dream it was, is to play for the Tigers since they were kids, have all transferred. Joe Jackson, another Memphis kid had to be talked out of leaving after his sophomore year. The blow outs on our home floor by U.Conn, Ok.St. and the road blowouts this past season to Whichita St. and Gonzaga, not to mention the embarrassing blowouts in the NCAA's by Mich.St. and Virginia. The drop in attendance and season tix, only 12'000 (announced) showed up for our home game against our rival Cincy. This past year, not even an invite to the NIT. Yes, in a number of fans eyes, this is a train wreck.

RE: Do we have any hot "hostesess" like the SEC...
I am just glad I have my football to look forward to.

I quit going to bb games two years ago when I got the distinct feeling I was putting more effort in to going downtown on weekday nights than the players were putting effort in to bb, and my precious dollars would be spent better by sending a Youth Villages child to a football game or getting some animals sterilized to slow the holocaust at Memphis Animal Services. Priorities.

Don't kid yourself, this is 100% about the coach and has zero to do with "non-basketball"....
