Poor Fella..he can only count to 9 now.

They still dont know how much of the finger he lost... and hes gonna make plenty after he sues the hospital for violating his HIPAA rights. In the end, he will still get a monster deal. Losing a finger isnt a big deal for his position. He wasnt signing the $60 million deal anyways. Hes gonna get more.

dumb article. JPP did not lose the tip of his finger...His index finger was amputated at the knuckle... the same arm needs skin gratfs for 3rd degree burns. It would no surprise me if the guy never plays another down on football.

Lol, your UCF is showing. The Kid will sign a mega deal and be back on the field this year. The injury isnt that serious and wont affect his play at all.

Depends on the use of the other 4 fingers... he still has to be able to tackle someone... or pull a QB down. I know that is a foreign concept to the Brahman Bulls...

Fingers are very important for a DE. You are constantly grabbing things. He may be able to get by with 4, but to say it will have no effect, I am not so sure. Your hands are weapons used on every play.

In addition to right index finger amputation as @AdamSchefter reported, I'm told JPP has right thumb fractures. Should heal in 6 weeks

3rd degree burn on a four fingered hand. 3rd degree burns on his arm. He may play eventually but it will take some time for him to recover. I seriously doubt he will ever be the same player. I hope I am wrong. Only time will tell.
