Neither Dedric nor Marshall can fill the shoes of Nichols, at least not for the upcoming season. Nichols' experience and touch with the BB will be sorely missed and could be the difference between making or not making the NCAA's. I just don't get why there is always so much turmoil associated with and defections of highly touted players from Pastner's teams.

C'mon. Pastner is squeaky clean. He would NEVER do anything like that, nor be associated with anyone who would. Same for Shaq. He came here solely because he wanted to wear the blue and gray of Memphis and get his four year degree.

That's about all he's going to get I'm afraid.

Nichols got paid. Anyone highly recruited gets paid in some way or another. If you don't think so, you are dumb or naive. FACT.
