I'm a relatively new fan. Going to be a student there this fall. Is there another message board for the Tigers that gets more traffic? This one seems dead. Not much tiger talk going on here.

It's a dead time right now. Give it a few weeks or a good rumor about us and the Big 12 and it will light up. By the time basketball season is in full swing you will be tired of some of these people. It can get a little cray cray. There is a 24/7 page for us as well but it's a pay sight. If by some miracle we start out 4-0 in football they wil be coming out of the woodwork.

In the past , this Board was more actively involved with cordial discussions of Tiger athletics from a Tiger fan perspective. It has changed. You will find little Tiger talk here now, but an abundance of sniping, destructive criticism, and outright loathsome posts.

Unfortunately, there are few alternatives other than 24/7 to my knowledge. You might try the AAC main board. The Tiger talk there, ironically, is generally supportive and informative.

I assumed this was true but was trying to be nice, since people who create aliases and fish are, by definition, pathetic examples of wretches whose only friends are those in similar straits.

This is not a tiger fan site. It was untul about 5 years ago and started aa a damn good site. This is a basketball site where they love the grizz and hate josh pastner, love the commercial appeal and ole miss football but hate most things univ of memphis.
