Pretty good betting odds
I thought this was odd. At oddshark.com, they list the odds for winning the presidency and Hillary Clinton leads the way at even money (Jeb Bush is second at 4:1). They also list the odds of the winning party (Democrats -165, Republicans +135).
But for gender of winner, it's still Male in the lead at -135 ahead in the race. Female is +105. Either they know something we don't know about Clinton, or maybe she's not truly a mortal lock according to the oddsmakers after all.

I know nothing about betting. I think I understand the even and 4:1 but could you explain the -165 +135?

RE: Pretty good betting odds
I'm not a better really either, but basically you have to spend $165 dollars to make $100 in profit when it's -165, and if something is +, that means the amount you make when you spend $100 (so plus +135 means you make $135 on a $100 bet).
So they're saying Hillary is even money to win, but it's still more likely a male becomes president than a woman. If you believe she's going to win, it seems to me that gender bet is a pretty good proposition.
