This should earn Cato a roster spot for sure, goes from injured reserve to starter. He's got heart, life handed him a load of crap and he didn't give up.

Finished 20/25 239 yards and 3TD's no pics. Player of the game! Excellent start for Cato.

He made some Canuks look silly. CFL isn't too bad. But the even bigger field is definitely detrimental to the fan experience. I wish ESPN would make a serious go of airing Arena Football this time of year. I think I must be the only person who actually likes the AFL.

Yes you are. Its terrible.

Proud of Cato. I think some of the CFL rules are silly, but Montreal definitely got a few more fans in the US today.

Watched Brian Brohm last night (son of our Head Coach) and watched Cato tonight......Must admit I know nothing about CFL, hell I thought Canada only liked hockey, but Cato looked really good, Brohm looked like he will be on Western's staff under his bro next season...

Heh, Hockey to them is their main sport so to speak but the CFL has a pretty legit following up there too. The sad thing is though when they tried their US expansion it failed miserably in a lot of the markets which basically bankrupted those teams. That said, with the US teams I did make a better effort to watch more. Especially that Baltimore team because of the whole Colts thing. I also followed it closter because they did use a few WLAF cities and I did enjoy watching WLAF while it was here.

Rakeem Cato, International Superstar!

He's so good, a 12th defender and an extra 10 yards can't slow him down.

Two things:
1) Congrats, Cato! Impressive first game in the CFL. I switched it to the game a couple times and watched a little bit of it. Going forward, if he continues to play at such a high level there, the NFL may take notice at some point.

2) Arena football is an abomination.

Hope the Browns watched that game. He's gonna produce in any environment. He's a competitor.
