You guys should. Georgia State needs to do something to get butts in seats. NMSU is by no means perfect in fan attendance, but we are trying to increase it.

Well.we did schedule a weekday afternoon game during the worst traffic afternoon of the year in the southern US.

I'm sure state fans are thrilled to see a program that hasn't won much recently have a big marketing push to get butts in the seats, and have it work too.

On that note, question for state fans, have yall done much to try and market to local non alumni? Like partnering with other events, or that kind of thing?

Tech doesn't give a crap about attracting those outside their own little circle. And everyone and their uncle around here is someone or knows someone who went to GSU, goes to GSU, works at GSU, etc.

And there's been pretty much nothing. Maybe that has to do with higher-ups feeling like we have nothing to advertise yet, but it still baffles me. I'm not ready to concede the idea that we can make a dent in this community until I see that we've actually put forth some sort of effort...

the unfortunate thing is that until you guys start winning, nobody will show up unless the school puts forth the kind of effort that nmsu is. the sjsu thing is pretty cool.

Also that 9000 isn't including season ticket holders or student seating. Their is under 8k tickets left for the game so 22k seats are accounted for. Majority of the seats left are General admission

So how many tickets left? I think that number would be more helpful.
