We are losing a lot of good players, which is scary. Fuente made them good players, which is good. Maybe we will be surprised at how Fuente continues to develop the new wave on defense.

We should have the horses on offense and a lot of us have been hoping that Fuente will really open things up this year. Maybe Fuente plays it even more conservative to try and keep the defense off the field.

Our defense will be all right. A lot of those guys got playing time last year. They have a good leader in Reggis Ball who was mentoring a lot of them last year. Y'all calm down. We got this. I am more concerned that we may have some opening stutter steps from our offense from whom so much is expected.

We have several that can and will step up. This staff knows how to provide these guys with what they need. They will only get stronger and more game savvy during the season.
