Atson has impressed Jefferson with his versatile skill set, his ability to rebound and defend, handle the ball and shoot from the perimeter. What truly stands out is his motor, his relentless desire to win at everything.
“He’s got what it takes to be really good, and what I mean by that is I don’t see a lot of toughness in players anymore. I don’t see a lot of guys who play extremely hard anymore. He has those qualities,” Jefferson said. “Those aren’t qualities you can get. You either have it or you don’t. He doesn’t quit.
