Good info. I have used vividseats.com with good experiences in the past. The only thing you have to watch out for in comparison with Stubhub are the additional delivery/handling/service charge fees on the back end of vividseats. For instance, the same tickets you are mentioning are listed at $13 at vividseats, but likely comparable or perhaps even slightly more once they tack on the additional fees.

Glad that game is at night as it is or can still be hot as Sofia Vergara in the Dallas Metroplex in late September.

The Magnolia is a pretty cool place. It's arguably the most famous building in Dallas due to the huge neon Pegasus on its roof. It used to be the headquarters for Mobil Oil before being declared a historic landmark and converted into a hotel.

Correction to my above post. They have listed the address for the Magnolia for their downtown Dallas hotel. The posted link takes you to the Magnolia Park Cities hotel which is walking distance to the campus and stadium.

Thanks for pointing that out. The team hotel, and Friday Night social, are at Magnolia Dallas Park Cities, which is 6070 North Central Expressway, near to SMU campus.

I love that the MRDs are going on the road. Love that for TV purposes and whipping up our fans.

Just notified my 3 tickets have been mailed and are on the way. Bought them through a ticket broker. 50 yard line, about 1/3rd way up the grandstands. Probably sold by a disgruntled Pony fan who wasn't interested in the game.

Phil Steele's preview lists JMU vs SMU as one of his seven most likely FCS upsets of an FBS opponent.

Wofford v Idaho
South Dakota State v Kansas
Villanova v Connecticut
Maine v Tulane
Liberty v Georgia State
Northern Iowa vs Iowa State

are the others he mentioned. I'd say Villanova and Liberty are more favored than their FBS teams.
