Those certainly don't look like Big 12 target figures.
Ya NIU is not even close to being ready for any move for another 4 seasons. By 2018 the stadium should be at 30-33k with a real skybox, indoor/outdoor clubs, modern amenities and an attractive (for NIU fans) home OOC schedule. Between now and then it just depends on if the 137k alums in the area care about NIU football at all or if their excuses as to why they don't come now are just replaced with more excuses.
Unless you plan to, at minimum, double revenue, triple attendance and improve to the top 100-150 in the director's cup, I don't see how 4 years changes things.
Your "minimum standards" are rather harsh considering that would be larger than ISU's budget (considering B12 TV money) or an attendance average of more than what TCU had when they were invited to the B12.
As for the Directors cup I have no clue about that so I wont even try. Though how did we tie for last in the MAC nationally when within the MAC we were in the middle?
Again this NIU to the B12 stuff its a long shot but it has to come from the Alums right now. We already lost some momentum with our last President and AD being completely content staying in the MAC.
And two years before joining the Big 12 their attendance was over 42,000. They also finished ranked in football 9 of 12 years prior to joining the Big 12 and did it in a better football conference than the MAC.
But let's say $45M, 30,000 in attendance and a vastly improved all-around athletics department (top 150).
I don't see how you reach those figures in 4 years.

Do you NOT read people's posts!? NO NIU fan actually thinks the school is ready for a move towards the BIG 12, a move to another conference possibly.
