Dude... Skal has been gone for months... get over it. This spot could be for the Canadian kid, depending on how his work out goes.

I have no idea, I was being sarcastic.

We are bringing in an unranked kid from Canada, sight unseen. That's a pretty far cry from being in contention for top talent across the nation.

I agree. So what other top talent is unsigned for this year's class that we should be going after? I haven't been keeping up.

I saw elsewhere that he is listed as a three-star prospect and one of the better ones left unsigned, that can't be right, can it?

Making a mountain out of a molehill. Replacing one often-hurt tweener who may graduate and move on for another tweener who *may* have more potential upside and can spend time under the program instead of just adding another freshman recruit next year is no big deal. It makes sense if it can be done and the kid has potential

Makes no sense with what we already have coming in. But that's par for the course lately

I agree. Maybe he's the next Rodney carney/DJ Stephens type story...but if he's not, no biggy - we "traded" him for Chris Hawkins. Worth a shot I guess.

I just hope this isn't going to the new norm.

I hope too this isn't a new norm but in this case I don't see a downside. The kid doesn't look like a project material, he certainly has skill.

For what it's worth; the greater Toronto area has been putting out a lot of great players and is going to keep putting out more and more. In a few years, I wouldn't be surprised if the GTA is producing as many D1 players as all but less than a handful of US states.

I don't think Rodney Carney was ranked. One of the great Tigers of all time. Antonio Burks was a walk on. One of the great Tiger guards ever.

Why in the wordl do you use up a scholarship for an unknown commodity like Walker? In past years Pastner would have simply kept the scholly for next year....tells me a whole lot about how 2016 recruiting class is shaping up.
