Fun read

I've read some of the stuff he wants to do. Some of it I agree with.. Problem is, I doubt the stuff that I agree with are the things he won't get done.

But that's true of any candidate.

Economically, Bernie and I are polar opposites.

Please nominate him.

I've said it before, I like a lot of his populist approach. However, there are other things about him that are non-starters.

I like some of the GOP's populist rhetoric a lot more.

Can you stop acting like this is a liberal problem? Every Republican candidate just tripped over themselves in order to make similarly idiotic and terrifying statements referring to the SCOTUS ruling.

Well, for me, who falls more towards the center on the economic scale, I like a lot of his ideas and I think that when implimented they would move us back toward some common sense. That's predicated on the fact I think that economically we have moved too far towards one extreme and our economy is off track because of it.

But, as you said, there are a lot of things about him that just do not fly at all. His social outlook is a disaster. His taxation ideas are a disaster. There really isn't much to discuss beyond that because those two things alone ensure he is off my list.

2 - I have a hard time classifying more then 2, maybe 3, GOP candidates as actual conservatives.

3 - Which SCOTUS ruling? There's been a lot recently.

Sanders - Paul is the ideological debate the US needs in 2016. Regardless of whether or not you agree with either of them, at least both men stand by their ideas and aren't cronys like Clinton and Bush.

Sanders's nomination would be pretty much the only event that would get me to pull the lever for Jeb Bush. If it is Hillary, I'll sit it out completely. You are right though, Sanders would provide a clear choice where as there is really no difference between clintonbush.

Of course, I can't recall any stories where Bernie has upset the establishment, so maybe not.

Sanders is catching up to Clinton because people distrust Clinton, not because America has suddenly embraced socialism or Sanders.

I will sig bet you he does not become the nominee. At 20 to 1 odds. You get my sig for 20 weeks and I get yours for 1. If he DOES become the nominee and win ... I'll double that to 40 weeks at no cost.
