The media doesn't make the candidates speak out against abortion

God forbid speaking out against resentfully killing fetuses due to your own ill behavior. What womyn-hating jerks!

No, it just doesn't play well nationally, and acting like the media is the reason for this is downright stupid.

I think you hit on the real issue. The GOP wants every one of their positions to be spun the way they want to spin them. But the media isn't going to spin it that way. There's plenty of right wing lackeys in the media to parrot the talking points of the GOP candidates.

I totally agree. John was forced to take her. It was his undoing.

You're right. The msm will twist what the Republicans say, or take it out of context.

It's sad, but there's nothing we can do about it.

I think the GOP would be wise to just sit back and wait. Bring in a someone young that looks good speaks well can "shuck the corn" and has no real experience. Tell people what they want to hear and advocate for reform and change.

In other words....Use the Democrats playbook from 2008.07-coffee3

Fiorina has more baggage than Mitt Romney on connecting with the people. And she should open a Waffle House outlet with her policy history. She'd be a 'nail in the coffin' on any GOP campaign. She won't connect with independent women.

Rubio? Meh. Maybe on the bottom line. I don't think he brings more Hispanics to the table either and I don't think he makes Florida GOP either.

That ticket doesn't scare me. Walker made a dumb move when he went full Pat Robertson last week.

Perhaps if Rubio used the opportunity of the GOP debates to call Donald Trump a racist *******...(by the way - that's how you handle him). But if anyone does that, the tea party is going to go ballistic.

Walker is Pat Robertson. Carly only has to shave off a % points from HRC

At this point the GOP's best shot is a Bush/Clinton showdown...and I hate to say this..but..either would not be the worst thing to happen to America considering the rest of the sorry lot that has announced. They are both moderates in their gangs...despite what hyperbole is thrown around about them.
