...or how Kevin "Roland" has been doing since arriving on campus?

Last I heard the Convo was at 3 of 12 million pledged. Still looking for that big big check :)

Like I said, I heard it from one of the most reliable sources there is. Might be a bunch of smoke. I don't know. But, it is what was said.

dude, let's build a 100M Convo (call it whatever you want!) and start next year. Hoping for a project announcement and timeline, and anything announced before a year or so from now is flat out awesome.

Per JB, in a personal conversation, $88M is all that can and will be spent on the new arena. Any money raised reduces the amount the students will have to cover with fees. $12M is the target to raise through donations leaving $76M to be covered by our students. JMU will certainly accept more than $12M, but it will not increase the amount that will be spent, it will go towards reducing what the students will need to cover. This is not my words as I was asking some very specific questions on the cost of this project.

You fellas can get on the train or stay behind and ***** about it, but it's going to get built someday so you might as well enjoy the ride.

that is par for the course. Anyone JMU chooses to red-shirt seems to transfer. he evidently was not that good or had a very low ceiling if he was not worthy of getting some playing time last year.

An Appalachian state fan, who has 3 kids at Amelia Academy where
Kevin(Roland) Kangni attended, says we are getting a great kid and player. AppinVA posted it another thread. Are there any reports on how Kevin is doing since arriving last month?

It also seems that Ramone Snowden is a good transfer to pick up. Sorry to see Sterling leave. On the bright side, perhaps we were the trend setters on the constant roster changes and the rest of college basketball is catching up?

I will be buckled in for the roller coaster ride that is sure to come in 4 months.

Does anyone else think that McLean might start at 1 with Curry at 2? That seemed to be our best lineup towards the end of last year
