At Foley's Camp
It's a Sat Sun camp for 9-12 graders. An advanced skills camp

RE: At Foley's Camp
I have been to a bunch of UALR Basketball and Volleyball Camps but the one I went to today was the most interesting. This camp was Coach Foleys Advanced Camp for 9th - 12th graders. Coach did the most hands on instruction and tried to initiate the campers to the motion offense. Coach Foley was great. He used 5 of his current and past players to demonstrate his techniques to the campers. I could only stay for 1 1/2 hours of the Sat/Sun Advanced Camp but I would loved to hear more from "The Master" (as my friend LRT calls him). The campers were doing a lot of Coach Foleys drills but also getting a lot of wisdom from "The Master".

Hope I can make time to go back and watch the Sunday Session. Makes me understand the Motion Offense (used by both Coach Foley and Coach Beard) better.

Leaving the Jack this afternoon I also ran in to Coach Burg and Coach Adams from our Men's Team. Let's see, they were also working on Saturday at the Jack in their offices. Wonder if they were looking for new recruits or calling recruits they were looking at? (just wondering). FYI Coach Burg has a super personality. He reminds me of my wife (in personality only) because he loves to talk to people. Always has a smile and positive conversation.

Yes, Elaine missed her calling, she would have made a terrific salesman(saleswoman).

RE: At Foley's Camp
At Foleys camp today the last thing they did was have the ladies line up at take half court shots at the basket (for a T Shirt). Young lady from Memphis had no problem with the half court shot.

That's pretty impressive for any youngster, being able to get a half court shot to the basket.
