Amazing Grace
Amazing Grace how sour the sound of a idiot pandering to his base in a horse Marlboro man voice...

What is wrong with this idiot

This is Obama at his finest. I think he did a great job representing the American people.

His eulogy will go down in the history books as one of those moments that characterized the man. It was 100% authentic Americana.

RE: Amazing Grace
His eulogy was very nice and heartfelt.
His singing would've been better left out. He sounded awful.

BTW You can tell that he still smokes by his voice. Smoker's voice is very easy to pick out.

Bulls***. He doesn't have authentic moments, he doesn't do anything that isn't scripted for political impact.

Owl, I may need to reconsider forming a SuperPAC on your behalf. I would like to know though, who was the last president to not script his speeches?

The singing was scripted. Not authentic. Dude was raised as a white boy. I don't think he grew up singing negro spirituals. He is a fake.

No biggie, don't want a SuperPAC anyway.

But I find it incredible that you take exception to my comments here. Yes, every president in recent memory has scripted things. But none of them so obviously and consistently fake as Obama.

We will just have to agree to disagree on this one. Actually, this brings up an observation which most everyone believes (myself included) that because someone has a certain stance on Issue "A", their stance on Issues "B" through "Z" is automatically assumed.

Good point. As you can probably tell from my rant on the "Thoughts" thread, I tend not to take the stance on Issue "C" that my stance on Issue "A" would suggest to those who expect that sort of monolithic belief structure, so I get flak from both sides all the time. Heck, as you have seen yourself I've done that on the "Thoughts" thread several times already. I'm fine with that, keeps me on my toes.

I'm fine with agreeing to disagree on some issues, as long as we can discuss them with mutual respect. If the biggest disagreement we have is over whether Obama is sincere or a lying SOB, I think we can get over most anything else.
