Fascinating, didn't expect Oregon and Washington to be grouped with Texas.

Difference is, in Texas libertarians are looked at as the liberals where as in Oregon and Washington, they are the conservatives.

Away from the population centers on the coasts, both OR and WA are surprising rural and trend conservative.

Source? My liberal sister who lives in Portland with her inlaws living in a rural OR coastal community.

I take it Wyoming is the Capitol.

Nah, in between Ann Arbor and Brighton/Howell.

I live in eastern Washington and grew up in north Idaho. No surprise here. People in Spokane would drive on dirt roads if it meant cutting down on government and taxes.

With the state they're currently in, dirt roads would be smoother.

Texans are suspicious of any government.

I'm one of those people that will drive on any dirt road possible and may be involved in my townships fight against FERC (Big Government) and Energy Transfer (Big Business) soon if need be.
