I find it interesting how quickly drug testing morphed from being a way to detect cheating (steroids) to a way to detect use of substances that have no positive effect on athletic performance. By celebrating the "successes" of these tests, we can easily distract the public from having to acknowledge that schools (and the NFL) have largely given up the fight against steroid use by football players.

I was going to suggest Steroids.
