Worst: 1AA Coastal Carolina. Nearly beat us in a trap game between homeopener BG, and road MAC opener WMU. I either want the 1AA best teams or worst... No emerging teams with a point to prove. 38-28 final.
Just my opinion though. Thoughts?

Let me help you with your signature............

2010: 8-5 --Lost to team out West --(no MAC Championship game appearance)
2011: 9-4 --Lost to team out West --(no MAC Championship game appearance)
2012: 9-4 --Lost to team out West --(no MAC Championship game appeaarance)
2013: 7-5 --Lost to team out West --(no MAC Championship game appearance)
2014: 9-4 --Lost to team out West --(no MAC Championship game appearance)

04-cheers

That's true. I'd still rather lose to NIU than BGsucks.

Part of me is almost tempted just to put the OU game in 2012 since they were undefeated and ranked at the time, even if it fooled me into thinking that Treadwell may have worked out.

Worst: Losing to EKU last fall was rock bottom.

EkU has made the FCS playoffs frequently, a solid program could very easily play in the Sunbelt

Yeah, but given how we had hung tough with Marshall the week before us Miami fans thought EKU would've been our sure chance of ending the losing streak. We ended up outgaining them by a considerable margin, but a pick-six and trick play TD combined with bad offense made it a painful experience to watch.

Amen! We're also catching up fast on the all time BG-UT football win defecit. The NIU all time win surplus is in no danger.

Not yet. I might not be alive anymore when we catch up, but we'll get there. 02-13-banana

Best: Michigan State, September 4th of THIS YEAR. It's going to be epic.

Worst: Losing to Nicholls last year. I remember walking out of Waldo in a daze, unsure of what I had just witnessed.

We lost to Western, ....EW!! LOL

I remember the SIU loss, Huskie Stadium was packed! Then we hired their head coach! LOL. I want to forget that year. So much heartbreak/

I wouldn't consider in state school game at huskie stadium a "worst" those are my favorites.

That WIU game was not a poorly scheduled game. NIU only had 1 win since we snapped our losing streak. It was a game scheduled to try and get us a win. It came down to the few min.

That was my first NIU game in 99. There were so few people in the East stands that I sat on the 50 in the first 20 or so rows and had enough room to watch the game sitting down with my feet on the bleachers in-front of me while laying backwards on the bench behind me....all while these 2 old WIU fan were cheering in the middle of the Dog Pound.

The 2007 SIU game was a poorly scheduled game but only because SIU was at the top of FCS at the time. When you play a great FCS team that has nothing to lose they have an advantage.

But still our Presbyterian game was easily much worse...as is our Murry St game this year.

Good NIU team vs a bad FCS team on a Thursday night.
Good NIU team vs FCS team 1 week after home opener.
<
Bad NIU team (Ranked as one of the bottom 4 FBS teams in the Country) vs a decent instate FCS team

For Ohio:

Best - 2005 vs Pittsburgh, win in OT on ESPN for Frank's 1st Victory in Athens

Worst - 2002 vs. Northeastern, shutout at home by a 1-AA school, 31-0

Was that the game where an Ohio player had a pair of pick sixes?
