RE: 12 of the Best College Logo Designs
If the UC C-Paw isn't on the list, it's not a valid list. End of discussion.

Often won the best logo and jersey for all North American hockey teams, but now no more.
The logo was drawn by a ND Objiwe, Ben Brien, and every feather and color and facial expression had meaning.
It's a little too similar to the Chicago Blackhawks.

I'm partial to the Memphis logo, partly because it evolved from a suggestion that I submitted to our university president back in 1978. Originality and cleverness is less important than distinctive identification. Our logo's colors, the "M" and the diving tiger leave no doubt that it stands for the University of Memphis. Can't blame other schools for borrowing the concept.

I liked the UConn block "C", but the idiots in Storrs got rid of it.

It's got the Indian head on it.
Ok, so maybe I should have said the logo instead of the entire uniform.
It's a good look. The Blackhawks' home (red) uniform has been called the best uniform in pro sports by several sources.

Any Top 10 list of best college logos that doesn't include this:
is suspect at best.

I always thought Marshall should have superimposed their block M over a bunch of buffalo. It just seems kind of ridiculous to call it a herd with just one buffalo, much less a Thundering Herd.
Just an observation.

It's easily one of the most recognizable, and unique to boot. And the best part about it is WVU didn't pay a dime for it. It was a gift.
