He is actually what we need on this team....He could be another Paul George or better.....Heck He could become another Scottie Pippen type....Athletic, APlays above the Rim, Very very good 3 point shooter with range, can take people off the dribble....Then try and get a 2nd round pick and add Andrew Harrison....then Sign Gerald Green in Fa and we would have adressed any weaknesses we would have....The World Is Ours Memphis....

Couldn't even hold down a starting position on one of the worst Kansas squads in years. Bust.

And we all know Wallace likes players who were highly ranked coming out of high school, even if they've proven they aren't worth a ****.

People you know Hollinger has a huuuuuge say in who the grizzlies take right.

Also what bad picks has Wallace made? Thabeet wasn't Wallace. That was 100% Heisley. Wallace got I'd a solid back up point guard to Mike in Vasquez only to have Lionel run him off.

The trade for OJ Mayo on draft night wasn't a bad choice, but it just didn't work out.

Wallace has actually done a pretty damn good job. Better than what Jerry West did.

Wroten? Jamaal Franklin? Demare (I know he's fit in well at ATL but was a poor pick for Memphis).

Well first off 2012/3013 wasn't Wallace. That was the new GM or really new guy in charge of the draft.

Again can't blame him on the Mayo trade at the time a lot of people thought Mayo would be a star.

Second Thabeet wasn't his pick. That was 100% Heisley. Heisley was infatuated with Thabeet.

The second round picks who cares they are second round picks. You really not getting much value out of those picks the majority of the time.

Also Carroll might have fit well here if Lionel wasn't here. Some need to remember Lionel drove off a lot of guys because he didn't like them.

The Henry pick now was a bust

So in all honesty Wallace has done a pretty good job at drafting when it's been his choice. The problem is we have traded a lot of our draft picks either because we needed to move a guy or Lionel didn't like said player.

It all comes back to Wallace. What good are you as a GM if you don't have the pull within the organization to hang on to your draft picks? Vasquez isn't exactly a world beater, but the Raps just got a 1st and 2nd for him while Wallace swapped him out for Qpon. Compare the haul Toronto received for Rudy to what we got. Wallace sucks and other GM's don't respect him.

Wallace is just a face for the media. I'd be shocked if actually makes any decisions. Like it's been mentioned before he wanted Tyreke when we drafted Thabeet. To be honest Billy Knight was probably our best GM when it came to drafting.
