Southern brings a nice crowd. Wouldnt be surprised if they equal the Tech crowd.

We will have at least 23-25k at the opener especially with the new endzone facility. Southern will bring a nice crowd and it will be a sellout.

Did the Cajuns find some guys to play in the defensive backfield that can run for next season? Those guys you had last year were really slow. If not I think the Cajun fans should stay in the swamp for our game.

They signed this guy that was kicked off of LSU's team. I believe he's going to be a DB.

"Bonnette's statement regarding Brazil on Thursday comes as Baton Rouge police say the 19-year-old former player is wanted on felony charges in connection with a burglary near campus. Brazil is accused of entering an unlocked apartment where two people were asleep and stealing $47.

Brazil had already received two misdemeanor summonses, one for disturbing the peace by fighting and one for simple battery of a female student."

At least the Cajuns know they had a problem last season. We didn't play Henderson against them so maybe this guy can cover him.

With a new seating capacity of 27,100 Tech should not only have a sellout but will accomodate a large standing room crowd on the North end zone bluff. Bring your cameras because there will be crowd shots never before available.

LA Tech leads to dogpatch reference leads to attendance talk leads to EE . No specific order.

Has state funding been discussed - I don't want to start reading this thread from the start again. :)

There are ways, but if your coach is alert he will make sure they pay attention to THIS game.

Sometimes it depends on who your second game is against. If the players think this is a gimme but the biggest game of the year is next week, they may be caught looking ahead and coasting.

I have heard the biggest improvement in a team is between the first and second weeks. If so, that is because weaknesses get exposed in that first week and worked on before the second.

How dare you disrespect the home town of your team by referring to dogpatch rather than Dogpatch. Didnt you learn when to use capitol letters? Show your respect man.

Technically, since it's Ruston, it would be "Dawgpatch."

Ruston is the hometown of my team. I gave your reference more respect than it deserves.
