I'm sorry guys. I didn't mean to stir anything up. This above post is right too.

I was just trying to think of a new way to promote both CUSA and Rice's common interests.. because ultimately anything that helps CUSA helps Rice.. and we're going to negotiate the TV deal soon.

- Making Rice v. UNT "special" (now) speaks well for Rice's long term interests.

- Educating that next crop of Rice students that UNT is in fact their rival will only help put more fannies in the seats of Rice Stadium (or a brand new stadium... if support ever reaches that level)

I only want Rice to thrive, within the structure of CUSA.
