Couldn't believe it. Florida has AA minor league talent at every position right now and deep pitching.

Good win by UVA. Hard to believe there will be a repeat from last year. Maybe UVA wins it.

I do. I try to think of it as having pride in the Commonwealth, not necessarily the school. Sort of like military personnel when they salute... respecting the rank but not necessarily the person.

Well if Kuhn is our guy, I am going to hope he gets the called pitch to the catcher much quicker. It is a 3 hour game tonight and there are two innings to go. 3-0 UVA.

The SEC uses a pitch clock during the regular season and the ACC does not. It shows.

Slightly off topic but I really like MLB's attempts to speed up baseball. Not sure what happened for several years that made players think the fans wanted to watch them adjust their batting gloves. Stay in the box and hit.

It even bled down to rec league softball where guys treated every at bat like there own 15 minutes of fame. Can't stand it.

Slightly faster baseball is such better baseball.

I root against all VA schools that aren't JMU. I really don't care what other posters' opinion is of my opinion.
Now that we're rumored to land UVA's pitching coach, I also want them to hurry up and lose so we can just friggin announce already. This is taking forever.

no. no you shouldn't. it has no positive effect on jmu what so ever and likely has a negative effect.
