This is another reason I hated Stanton. When you look at what he accomplished at UCF and realize had he been allowed to do his job at ETSU, the school would look very different today.

I had the privilege of doing some research work for Todd. He compiled a comprehensive report of ETSU's peer institutions athletic facilities. The report pointed out how far ETSU had fallen behind other SoCon schools and even the NAIA schools.

He also prepared an extensive report to move ETSU to D1 football.

Needless to say his report fell on deaf ears and Todd left for Oregon St. The same year he left, 2003, football was put on the chopping block.

ETSU had an AD trying to move the Athletic department forward and the administration decided to move ETSU backward. Unfortunately they accomplished that goal.
