The key is if it spread elsewhere or not, right? I mean, get the tonsils removed like a lot of us did as a kid -- problem solved, right?

Easy... Cancer is just God's way of saying he cares for us, and likes to offer us challenges. :) Although, you would think taking over CMU with 2 out of 3 of their biggest stars gone would be enough of a challenge, but I guess that's not enough.

Thoughts and prayers for the coach. When the big C comes calling, you don't get a choice on whether or not to fight.

Coach Fleck is right in his remarks that some things are bigger than rivalries. We will join all in praying that Coach Bono has a successful and rapid recovery. Our prayers go out to him during this time.

Always proud to be a Bronco, RTB.

RE: Bonamego diagnosed with tonsil cancer
As a recent cancer victim who is fully recovered. I wish Coach Bonamego the best in his battle with cancer. I had my surgery done at U of M and he is very good hands. All of this in Michigan should be thankful we have a wonderful medical facility at the U of M.
