RE: Is the BIG12 in trouble?
The Big 12 leads the ACC and Pac 12 now without considering the Tier III TV rights that Big 12 schools retain. And they lead in total school revenue as well, by a considerable margin.

So you're saying Pac 12 schools like USC and UCLA and ACC schools like FSU and Clemson might join the Big 12 since the Big 12 leads them in revenue and that lead will grow?
Pac12 and ACC will overtake the Big XII and that gap will only grow if the Big XII decides to keep their status quo.

The ACC won't under the current contracts. The Pac 12 might towards the very end. They have a rapidly escalating contract (meaning they aren't making much now).

The ACC's contract was heavily front loaded. So the ACC will continually lose ground to all the other power conferences over the life of their TV contract. And they're already on the low end of the totem pole.

It doesn't matter how big that check is. If you don't know how to use it, it's useless.

I am tired of all the my conference is better then your conference crap. I don't want to root for Ohio State to beat Alabama. I want to hate Ohio State and Michigan and hope they lose every game.
It all started with the SEC fans and you all should feel shame. Alabama fans taking pride that LSU or Auburn won the championship is disgusting. You should hope these teams get hit by an asteroid not win the championship.
I'd give you reputation for that post but it's been disabled or something.

Interesting you say it was heavily front loaded when all reports were saying it was only going to pay something like $12 million the first year, back before expansion when it was a $17 million average.

Let's examine the pay scale for power conference payouts over the next 5 years. The results should be interesting.

You get to vote after making 1000 posts, so it looks like you are halfway there. Unfortunately, my saying this may encourage some people to massively post so they can be a judge.

Interesting that you list NAVY....and the BIG12 Commish mentioned heading EAST, I do know the BIG12 at one time thought of adding Air Force....NAVY would be interesting
Army and Navy games are shown on CBS Sports Network. What would it take to bring Air Force in? Go to 16 with the three service academies and add Cincinnati, UCF and Memphis to go to 16? You snagged 3 big national brand in the service academy, and the Commander in Chief trophy could play out in the Big 12.
Please do some research. Army-Navy is broadcast on CBS, not CBS Sports Network.
Air Force told the Big 12 they couldn't compete. Army & Navy have no desire to be in a P5 league.
I am not talking about that game. I am talking about Army vs Yale or other schools they played against on the CBS Sports Network. Same with Navy. Most of their games are on the CBS Sports Network. Notre Dame vs Navy is on NBC.
Only when the game is at South Bend. When Navy is the "home team" (wherever it is played), the game is on CBS.

It is less than that. According to my post count, I can give pos/neg points.
I haven't taken advantage of it yet.
