Tickets will be $10 and all profits go to St Jude or LeBonheur, from what I understand Hunt is still searching for a venue.

I'd pay $10 to watch these guys play an exhibition game.

He gave us three good years, is a proud alumni of the program and wanted a change of pace. And the year he left, our bigs were Shaq/Nichols/Pellom and we went 4 guards a good deal... by design since our best players were most;y guards. He would have likely been an 8th man or less on that team, especially since the players we had in the front court were better than Tarik on the glass and defense and Tarik's relative strength, scoring in the post was minimized by wanting to run a 4 out, 1 in (or even a 4.5 out with a high pick and roll from one big at the elbow) set most of the time.

I get him not being a first tier Tiger under JP (JJ, WB), but guys transfer all the time, both in and out of sports.

I'm not killing you for your opinion, it's your right as a fan of the program to see peoples' careers here as you see fit and I am not even telling you you're wrong.

I just don't think it's really worth any one's time to complain. Tairk served us well as fans for 3 years, got his degree and is still a Memphis guy. I'll embrace him, but understand those who won't. Just trying to lay out the counter argument.

hopefully they'll schedule the time after the basketball seat selection is completed downtown (not full re-seating). I'd hate for people to miss this because they're trying to get better season tix if possible.

This is wonderful ! Actually it's borderline INCREDIBLE that this is taking place and we are talking about this.....
There is @least 1 player that is NOT mentioned whom I believe would play and it would also be gr8 to see him play.....And that's Earl Barron..... EB has made his mark in the NBA and even has a ring with the @HEAT and is tearing up the @Dleague ....He could even get a call to @warriors at some point as they could use his size and floor running ability......he has also shown a propensity to hit midrange shots and has added 3 point range to his repetiore.....a must get, I think


Also Shawn Taggert.....don't know if he's been contacted but it would be worth a shot....Angel Garcia as well....never got to see what he could do for us....only a glimpse, but I would love to see a few minutes of him in action.....
If the game could be held in a nostalgic arena like The "coliseum" that would add to the intrigue....just somewhere that brings energy & exitement

I'm just glad we are still so mad at Tarik that nobody is mentioning Hunt beating up his girlfriend or running that guy over while drunk.

Maybe he should do a charity game to benefit MADD or one of the many shelters for victims of domestic abuse.

Timberlake is going to be there too.

I've seen Jeremy Hunt around town wearing Kentucky gear but this is still a great event that he is putting together. The field house will be packed. Wish it was at the forum to fit more people.
