That may be true about the time but isn't the game on Friday? Therefore it would be tomorrows game.

Fully expect to see Georgia State fans jumping off the top of the Westin as I'm leaving town tomorrow evening.

I'd like to see Charlotte come out on top in this game. It's going to be tough. I still believe that Charlotte it a few years away from being ready for FBS competition, but GA St was and still is in the same boat so who knows.

We have a strong running game. If Georgia State is still as weak there as they were last year, we should put up big yards on them. I think their D line had only 1 sack all year last year, so their pass rush wasn't much better, which is a good thing because our QB hasn't handled pressure well.

The question though is, is our defense any better? It was dreadful last year. Lot's of changes there. Mostly depth. We had walkons playing last year because of injuries and lack of depth. That won't be the case this year. We also have a new defensive coordinator.

It should be a close game.

I honestly believe Charlotte will RUN over Ga State. I understand that GA State will be hungry...But this is THE BIGGEST GAME for Charlotte. I'm sure they will be emotional and they can actually start their best players after a yr of being redshirted. I expect them to win big.

I think this will be a wow game for those who think Charlotte is a push over this season. My bet is we open the 1st quarter with 17 points while the defense holds them to 7. Final score Charlotte 48 Ga St. 28. Game will not be in question after mid-2nd quarter.

Can't stand those panthers. Hope Charlotte absolutely steamrolls them. Go 49ers.

If their front 7 can't stop the run, it is going to be a long day. Dropping a safety into the box would more than likely end up in their secondary getting burnt by Duke/Ford.

Safe travels to all Niners and Panthers headed to the dome.

ODU vs ECU and Ga St vs Charlotte are two entirely different match ups! ECU is GOOD team and thought we stick with them pretty good which makes us pretty decent in that respect. GA state isn't very good and neither is Charlotte. This will be a close one, but--

Ga State 21, Charlotte 24

We failed to score at least 31 once in 6 home games last season.

we also haven't lost to an FBS team.

Don't worry, you will.

I'll have what he's having. I'm not optimistic and think we'll lose by two touchdowns. I do think we win if we played them again in late October.

Panama, what turnout are you expecting from Panthers fans for the game? Such a weird time and its on a Friday.

I know Charlotte has a pretty large group coming.

This is your time to be optimistic. You may not have that opportunity 4 to 5 weeks into the season. Just ask Ga St. 05-stirthepot
