Is there something magical about getting 10 tickets?
Trying to understand that no matter what type of ticket you are buying, it is always a poor move to go from 8 tickets to 10 tickets. And no matter what type of ticket you want, club seats or priority, its $13,000 bones to get 10 tickets.

Perhaps the view is that a spouse and 6 kids is possible, but 10+ tickets may be targeted for group (or other) focus.
As far as kids go, maybe 8 has gone from "Enough" to too many

RE: Is there something magical about getting 10 tickets?
And somehow 10 is the magic number for that? Anyone with a clue would just give their friends money to donate to the ticket level instead of adding onto their 8 tickets. I guess for the priority level you just give friend $ after you hit the 4 ticket mark.
Priority $155 ($126 for Senior
Citizens & JMU Faculty/Staff)
Up to 4 Tickets: $150
Up to 6 Tickets: $575
Up to 8 Tickets: $2,250
Up to 10 Tickets: $13,000
Not understanding the logic here. I'm sure there is reasoning behind it, which is why I posted it.

$13,000 level means you can buy up to 30 season tickets, not 10.

That makes more sense....so $2250 gets me 2, 4 and 8 if I want it.

No, this is not correct. You do not add up the limits together.
The limits are still a moving target at the top end, but a consideration is parking as well. If you and your buddies get together to buy 10 tickets, you will only get 1 parking pass. So then you would be complaining about parking (see other thread)
Can I get club, chairbacks, as well as priority season tickets for football?
If you make a donation, you qualify for all the seat benefits of each seating area. For example, if you make a donation at the Bluestone Level, you are eligible for 2 chairback seats (based on rank and availability) as well as 6 tickets in priority seating. Please see the Duke Club benefit chart for exact details.

Correct. You can purchase any that the donation qualifies you for. But you don't add the limits together in those sections. Clubs + chairbacks or club + priority. But not 30 priority
You could get a total of 30 tickets at $13,000 if you buy 10 club + 10 chairback + 10 priority
Just so you know... I wasnt correcting you, was just adding the FAQ from the JMU website as additional detail.

I know the thread starter is from Richmond but I still have to believe he's smart enough to know it's 2 clubs, 4 chairbacks and 8 priorities. It's pretty obvious he was looking at the FAQ. Thanks for making damn sure though.
