When you lose the number of key players that TCU will, they are in rebuild mode. Again, they lose virtually their entire pitching staff, which was the strength of the team-- 4 top starters, 2 top relievers, their entire infield, and the 3 best hitters.
As for incoming recruits, let's just wait to see who signs. I very doubt the national high school POY is not going to turn pro. Also, you can never count on Freshmen to carry the load, no matter how highly regarded.

The national POY (Luken Baker) is definitely not turning pro. He didn't get drafted until the 37th round because he told teams he's going to TCU no matter what. He has already publically turned down the Astros. The Frogs are getting him. Now that being said, they are losing a lot, as you mentioned.
