Ex-Tiger Playing Well for Redbirds
Bartlett native and ex-3rd baseman for UofM continues to play well for the Redbirds. Hit his 5th homerun for the month last night and played very solid defense. I would love to see him make it to St Louis.

Should get to STL sometime this season. Can play a lot of positions and hit. Has to be added to the 40-man roster in November, which probably means he is a September callup this September as he is a better bench option than some other guys currently on the 40-man, unless he is needed before then which is very possible.

He's got to be better than Kozma, who shouldn't even be sniffing a major league team much less be on one

Sorry - his name is Jacob Wilson. I have been absent-minded all my life. My wife says that if I get Alzheimer's, people won't notice a difference.

Much more likely he makes his MLB debut next year. Cardinals genuinely don't like to rush players up to the big leagues. Jacob could become a really good utility player for them with some pop off the bench.

Watched him smack a two-run double in the eighth inning to open up the game last night and give the Redbirds the win in Nashville last night.

Didn't realize he was a Tiger until now!! :^)
