Great for their program. Very Sharp. Great place to see a game. Hoping we get something nice in our future.

Stainless Steel troughs now?

They really need to build a separate track facility. That ruins any positive changes IMO.

I read a response from a W&M poster on another thread which said a seperate track facility is in the works but not funded as yet. Does App. ST. still have a track surrounding their fb field?

Zable is my favorite small stadium. Very Ivy League feel. I also love the way they have incorporated canopies into the stadium. Hope we have something similar.

Fancy stuff. They're making adequate use of the space they have and I applaud them for it.

They're building a track over at their Dillard Complex, which is next to the baseball stadium. Looks like they've broken ground, so I'm not sure about the funding source or how that's being handled.

Based on their pictures, no.

Track kills the intimacy of the fan experience. Front row shouldn't be a mile away from the sideline.

RE: nice job W&M
The master plan for the school lists building a track facility out at the Dillard complex (where our soccer/lacrosse and baseball stadiums are), but it is true that there is no funding for that. Big point of speculation for us over on our boards as to when that happens, and what will be done with the new space. The cattle entrance will stay, the only major changes are to the other side where (in addition to the new club level, upper deck, and press/coaches box at the top) all of the seats will be adjusted to be a little bit wider, aisles widened, and other things. The cattle entrance side will get a new concession stand and renovated bathrooms, but as of now, no plans to fill it in. If interested, tribeathletics.com has some photo updates showing the construction...I can't figure out why there's not a link to that from the zable.wm.edu though.
