Farm Bureau Live
I'm coming down to a concert this weekend at Farm Bureau Live, staying on the oceanfront. Any advice from the locals on how much time to allow getting there from the oceanfront (thirty something street), arriving early, etc.?

Half hour. Take Pacific all the way down over the bridge until it becomes General Booth then take Dam Neck (right) directly into Farm Bureau Live

R8R is right with a half hour. Pretty easy to get in, plenty of parking. But you will want to add in some cushion time for the walk to your seats, at least 10 minutes. You can tailgate if you want before the show. Just make sure you use solo cups.

Who's playing this weekend there?
With all the crazy tourist you might want to give yourself some more time. Also I believe there is construction on Pacific Avenue around seventh Street. What ever you do stay off of Atlantic Avenue. It should be smooth sailing once you leave the oceanfront.

I believe they have shuttles that go from the oceanfront to the venue too. So you many not even have to drive.

Train and The Fray (wife's birthday present)

Thanks for the advice, guys. I'll look out for that shuttle, of course I already shelled out $25 for Preferred Parking.

Leave very early. Depending on the headliner, there's another 15 to 30 just to get inside and park. The egress is worse.

Yeah agreed. It takes 15-20 minutes just to walk from the car all the way to your seat after getting in line and walking all the way up the hill and to your seat.

Give yourself 45 minutes from when you leave the hotel just to be sure unless you don't mind missing a little of the opening band.
