Now, let's not get too crazy here...

I think this was my line for most of the last decade, but in recent years, Miami has been Furmanized to me.
What's Furmanized, you might ask? Furman used to be a very heated rival of Marshall during its I-AA days. However in 1996, Marshall's final year in I-AA, Marshall defeated Furman in the final game of the regular season, 42-17. After the game, Furman's head coach said something along the lines of "Well, it couldn't have been worse." He was wrong. Marshall defeated Furman in the I-AA Playoffs, 54-0. So, after outscoring Furman 96-17 in 1996, Marshall moved on to Division I-A, and no one has seen or heard from Furman since, and no one really cares. I kinda feel that was about Miami now.

I can get your blood boiling over Little Miami with 1 thing:
66-6.

They were ask in 2003.

You will still have the same speed and Tiny lines. Which will work fine for UNLV, Murrary State and the MAC. But won work for Ohio State and probably a toss up for Boston College and probably won't work for your bowl game again either.

Question is where does the rest of C-USA fall in? I think the fight will be in the middle. Will it be Rice or MT at 4? Who knows? I think the Florida schools will do well this year, and might even surprise.
With this said, I do like Steele, but 31 to start the year with a new QB? Not sure. But then again, Marshall may have the best coach and talent in all of CUSA. Time will tell.
Handing the ball off to Devon Johnson and watching him run for 9 yards isn't too hard. Just saying.
