Still trying to figure out how handing out the the UNC paid for Wainstein Report to recruits and their parents is negative recruiting.

UCF recruiters should follow them up with folders defining hypocrisy and hubris. An intelligent recruiter could come up with all kinds of good approaches here. That might be what UCF has in short supply, if it's a problem.

Before the title was changed, when I made my reply to the thread, it said "Love how UCF is crying about negative recruiting".

It's since been changed. But I never bothered to edit my post to reflect that. After all, I replied to the OP's comment, not the article.

UNC better get used to it.

my respect for UNC, what little I had has plummeted to the negative regions. They are as bad as UNLV, SMU, and the other epic cheaters in history in my book.

As for "negative recruiting", I don't believe in it. If you have to tear someone else down to make yourself look better then you have work you need to do.

But if I did want to take the negative route I would ask the recruit if they knew what the numbers 34 and 7 meant when it comes to UNC.

34 is the number of years since UNC won a championship in football

7 is the average number of wins for Fedora while at UNC.

That would be enough of a negative for me.

Academic fraud over a 20 year period is far worse than anything SMU and UNLV did.This wasn't $100 handshakes, or buying someone a new car, they had no show classes for multiple decades. Was Tony Soprano running things in Chapel Hill?

Frank Howard was a master of negative recruiting. So is Steve Spurrier over in Columbia.

I'd like to see negative recruiting end myself. But human nature says that's going to be next to impossible.
