He also got in trouble in the state legislature for using government money for personal expenses. He is a financial mess. If that doesn't bother you, it is certainly your right to dismiss it. he already paid back the money to the state.

Tons of people draw from their IRA to take care of things. Not the best thing to do, but it is still his money.

You are losing credibility about finances when you are saying he spent $80,000 on a $15,000 boat.

“Folks like myself say, no, they had nothing to do with each other,” he said. “You can’t print money in your household budget. Ergo, whether he wants to buy a boat or not doesn’t strike me as relevant about where he’s going to be on defense spending or sequester.”
