Oldest fan's last trip?
Daddy came with us last year and really enjoyed it. (He got to meet the new AD.) However, he has been in the hospital this week. Fluid in his lungs, etc, etc. Probably going home next few days, but his mobility is down to the point that it would not be feasible to negotiate the steps at the arena. He will be 91 next month.

I had the pleasure of meeting your Dad. A very nice man. Let's hope he can recover from this problem and enjoy more good years of health.

There is a ground level entrance that an elevator is available to reach all levels. Those tables & chairs "may" be available at the mezzanie level.

Sorry to hear that. He's in my prayers and hopefully he'll get better soon.

Amen on the prayers for your dad. Never had the opportunity to meet your dad, but when you meet a guy like you Pappy, you know he came from good stock.

He was released today. Being home always helps. Familiar surroundings.

RE: Oldest fan's last trip?
This is the first morning I have been able to enjoy a leisurely cup of coffee in I don't know when. Eventful day yesterday. My father came home from the hospital - again. Hopefully for good this time. (He had developed a hematoma from the blood thinner and had to go back to get that settled.) Now we begin the vigil of having to have someone with him all the time. While that was happening in one of the Fort Smith hospitals, literally about the time he got home, in the other one my sister-in-law died about 6 p.m. First time in 61 years I had ever actually watched a human being take the last breath.

No offense to us fans, but in the bigger picture, Mr. Basketball nailed it when he said the stuff on this board doesn't mean a thing.

RE: Oldest fan's last trip?
Not likely, but it is just possible I spoke too soon. We had his 91st birthday dinner last night, and he cleaned his plate, and then had two helpings of ice cream and cake.
