But I have done consulting in the security sector and know *serious* security professionals. And I know where and roughly whom Anonymous comes from and, while they are highly divergent and amorphous, their GENERAL beliefs.

And along those lines, I stand by my original point that calling them progressive is bizarrely inaccurate and saying they're George Soros funded is some "Glenn Beck forgot his meds" kinda stuff.
Honestly, I don't care for them. I get the whole "justice for those who are not getting justice" angle they try to push from Ferguson to Jessica Chambers to McKinney.

The one thing I hate is that during the Ferguson matter, they were releasing information about people that could have gotten people hurt while they sat behind a keyboard. I believe I remember they even released wrong information.

I'm sure they're smart enough to elude authorities, but to me it's chicken sh*t.

The only thing they've done that I respect was going after ISIS websites.

They are terrosists supported by socialists agitators; dweebs funded by Soros.

Swagger. When you mention support of vigilantism, you represent a large part of what's wrong with this nation. This is why modearte Americans do not support the progressive movement.

You and several other posters... you know the ones...they come here every day working off the days list "talking points"; should be ashamed of yourselves.

It may or may not have been the same people. Anonymous is just a collective of like-minded people. There's not an organization with any policy telling anyone what to do, there's interaction between 'members' of course, but it's a very loose association. It's like a group of outdoor enthusiasts, some people may like mountain biking, some will like hiking, some may like both, some may like poor analogies. It's a group of people who have a common way of voicing their opinion, whatever that opinion may be.

I'm sure if the Boston Tea Party happened in 2006 instead of 1776 they'd be terrorists and vigilantes and extremists too. The difference between terrorists and vigilantes and patriots is whether or not the entrenched power lost.

And the George Soros stuff ... come on ... Glenn Beck has come down off that tin foil ledge you should too.

I am not backing down on George Soros. Not an inch.

http://www.snopes.com/politics/business/...rguson.asp

Open Society Foundations funds

•$2.6 billion to defend human rights, particularly the rights of women, ethnic, racial, and religious minorities, and often marginalized groups such as drug users, sex workers, and LGBTQ communities;

• $1.4 billion to promote reform in the United States on issues such as criminal justice, drugs, palliative care, education, immigration, equal rights, and democratic governance.

Kenneth Zimmerman, director of OSF's U.S. Programs observed
...OSF has been giving to these types of groups since its inception in the early '90s, and that, although groups involved in the protests have been recipients of Mr. Soros' grants....

When Soros was asked in 2006 about his statement in The Age of Fallibility that "the main obstacle to a stable and just world order is the United States", he responded that "it happens to coincide with the prevailing opinion in the world. And I think that's rather shocking for Americans to hear. The United States sets the agenda for the world. And the rest of the world has to respond to that agenda.

The only times I've seen the Feds really go after them HARD is on national security/classified material breaches linked to espionage. Financial Crimes are handled by another section of DoJ.

Whilst I do not agree entirely with this post, I do have to comment that there are some posters who frequent this board way to often during the business hours that they are supposedly working in their respective fields. The sheer magnitude of posts suggests that they are either inefficient in their 'jobs' or are merely attempting to portray themselves as something they are truly not. Hence the reason they might be paid agitators.

Thanks for backing me up. I may have oversold the paid bit...but I definitely think there is at least one poster who comes in here on a daily basis and creates threads based off of some talking points. I could tell everyone who i think it is...but I am sure you can guess who it is... it is not a board memeber who has been here for years either...
